Charice look really amazing in the latest issue of Preview Magazine. I love the make-up and the hairstyle. The hot topic right now is that people claim that her photograph was photoshopped. I don't think it was drastically altered which other people claim. Those who think otherwise should see this behind-the-scenes video of the photoshoot. As you can see, she looks exactly the same. It's just that we are not used to that kind of make-up and hairstyle on her.

Happy New Year everyone! Super excited about 2012! I feel it's gonna be a good year for me... and for Shinhwa... haha It's Shinhwa's comeback year! The group is still waiting for Lee Minwoo's release from military service but starting second half of March, Shinhwa fans will see all 6 members again in a comeback concert. Yehey!

I got interested in Shinhwa after I watched Eric Mun in Spy Myung Wol last year...so perhaps i can say that I'm one of the new generation shinhwa changjos? haha Hands down to all those Shinhwa changjos who've been there for Shinhwa ever since their debut...I don't think I can match their loyalty and fervor to the group... I hope they have space for a newbie fan like me...

Shinhwa's Junjin was discharged from the military this morning. My only recollection of him was when he joined We Got Married in 2009 with Lee Shi Young as his wife. I only managed to watch a few episodes and that's about it. I'm just super excited that soon Shinhwa will be complete again...With their comeback concert early next year, I'm looking forward to the group's activities and promotions... meaning I'll get to see Eric Mun more often! Yey! haha

Here's an upload of Junjin's interview this morning... What cracked me up were the two fans who gave him flowers and cake...If you're going to be so shy..why volunteer girls? It's an opportunity of a lifetime but they couldn't barely look at him.. haha

Lee Dong Wook's fans got together yesterday for his birthday. Ofcourse, as expected his co-stars of Scent of A Woman were there - Seo Hyorim, Uhm Ki-Joon and Kim SunAh. Sun Ah was sick but she still attended the event. She even made a special video for Wookie which I still haven't seen. Wookie requested not to upload the video but I'm still hoping a fan was able to record it.Why? Because I think international fans should also see it! It's so impossible to go to Korea just to attend the event right? That's so unfair! haha Anyway, I got more giddy and excited when Oppa Wookie sang a song which HE COMPOSED! OMG! According to him, it's for his Scent of A Woman staff...Another OMG! How can he say that when the lyrics of the song starts like this... “Do you still remember the first time we met? Smiling embarrasedly and from time to time our eyes would meet and with much difficulty we would say out “Hi” The only person that crossed my mind was SunAh... In older interviews, he said that at first he felt awkward towards SunAh but eventually they loosened up as time went by. As I said before, I think there's something going on between the two.. You just have to follow their me2day accounts and see their posts! haha Better yet..for SUNWOOK shippers, you really have to visit the Soompi SOAW thread for all the updates and translations! I first saw Andy Lee in MBC's reality show, We Got Married in 2008. He was paired with singer Solbi and they acted as newlyweds in the show. Their pairing was so cute and funny that I watched every single episode where they were in.

Fast forward 2011...fell in-love with Eric Mun who's a member of Shinhwa. I then got interested in the group hence my excitement when I found out that Andy was discharged from military this morning.Two more to go...and Shinhwa will be complete again. So my take on this one? Well...yes the song is upbeat, catchy...it's the kind of song that I would listen to while surfing the net... But the music video? Well it's cute but borderline slutty to me...haha I guess it's HyunA..there's something about how she projects herself that makes her a little slutty than cute...Her walk..her stance...her expressions. I really think there's something special going on between Lee Dong Wook and Kim Sun Ah. I'm actually a long time Lee Dong Wook- Lee Da Hae shipper but I guess people change. haha ..I've matured already ... I've accepted the fact that since I can't be with Oppa Wookie, he might as well end up with someone I like (even if it's not DaHae) who I am familiar with rather than end up with just any other girl...haha

Lee Dong Wook and Kim Sun Ah are so close that even if their series, Scent of A Woman, has ended they still hangout together like go to Cebu for a vacation. I haven't seen any other couple on screen who have showed such closeness as them.

According to news, they left Incheon Airport around 8 pm so probably they've arrived in Cebu already!!!!!!!!!!!!! They will be going back to Korea on the 19th. Kim Hyun Joong arrived in Manila last August 25 to promote his solo mini album "Break Down". A High Five Event was held in Trinoma were lucky fans were able to get a high five, shake hands and even hug Hyun Joong.

It was truly an unforgettable event for all the BUBBLEZZANGS/JOONGBOers (Hyun Joong-HwangBo fans)who brought JOONGBO banners and hats. Fellow PEx ulzzang MsJoelle was pretty thrilled when she met Hyun Joong because she noticed that Hyun Joong kept staring and smiling at the JOONGBO hat she was wearing. (Of course, the sole purpose of that hat was to show him that there are people still rooting for him and HwangBo! haha).

That is the headline that I've always wanted to read for Lee Min Ho and Goo Hye Sun. Now my dreams are shattered because I just found out that Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young are dating. This news greeted me when I opened my laptop this morning. Min Young's agency already confirmed that they've been dating for about a month now after their show "CITY HUNTER" ended. The two have been friends for quite a long time now but they only dated recently.

Many CITY HUNTER fans are happy about the news but I guess this will be a big blow to all those MINSUN shippers out there. Well at least MinHo's new girlfriend is someone I like rather than some random ordinary girl that I don't know. Then I would be completely jealous. I better watch CITY HUNTER ASAP! :)

Scent of A Woman

Lee Dong Wook's latest TV series is "Scent of A Woman" which is about Lee Yeon Jae (Kim Sun Ah) who is given the grim prognosis that she only has a short time left to live. She decides to quit her job at a travel agency and live her life to the fullest.
It seems that this series is only funny in the beginning but will be a tearjerker in the end because the female lead has a terminal illness. It would have been nice if there's a twist in the story.

I was surfing youtube for Lee MinHo's CITY HUNTER but I ended up watching the trailer of Eric's SPY MYUNG WOL. It was so interesting and funny that I started watching the 1st episode instead of watching LIE TO ME's episode 13. Now I'm currently in episode 6 and I guess I'll finish watching this one first.

The series, Spy Myung Wol, is about an elite North Korean spy, Han Myung Wol (Han Ye Sul), who ended up going to South Korea for a mission to marry hallyu star, Kang Woo so that she can convince him to go to North Korea voluntarily. Complications arise when she eventually falls in love with him.

Lee Dong Wook's "Scent of A Woman" started airing recently and I'm trying to practice self-control by not watching it until the whole series ends. I'd like to watch it continuously, one episode after another, rather than waiting for one whole week for an episode to air. I'd die of anticipation!

Anyway, my dear friend from couchkimchi posted uber delicious pictures of Oppa Wookie in the shower. I googled him this morning and every blog is talking about his body! Seriously try typing Lee Dong Wook in the google search box and you'll see what I mean. I think everyone's pretty amazed by his transformation because he used to be a thin, fair-skinned guy.

Of course, since this blog's origin comes from my love for Wookie, I will not miss this chance by posting Oppa Wookie's yummy pictures here. Enjoy!

These pictures were released during the early part of the series' shooting. I thought that Oppa Wookie's body was more muscular now but still skinny.

But OMG! I saw these today and my jaw dropped! ha!ha! Good work Oppa. Military training has done wonders to your body!

Eugene and Ki Tae-Young got married last July 23 in a small church outside Seoul. Eugene wore a Monique Lhuillier wedding gown. The dress was really beautiful but I didn't like the tiara. I think it was too big. Nevertheless, Eugene was stunning!

I'm now curious about the 2009 series, Creating Destiny, which stars both Eugene and Tae-Young.

Korean Drama: Lie To Me

At last after a long drought of good korean romantic-comedy series, I came across SBS's LIE TO ME. This series is about a girl named Gong Ah Jung (played by Yoon Eun Hye) who gets involved in a web of deceit after lying that she's married to Hyun Gi Jun (played by Kang Ji Hwan), a hotel president from an affluent family. Complication arises when Gi Jun's ex fiancee and a close friend of his brother reappears in his life.

Actually, aside from the story, I'm drawn to this series because of its lead actors. I like Yoon Eun Hye. I like her in Coffee Prince and Princess Hours. I think she's one of the prettiest korean celebrities now. And for me, she's one of those actresses who can play cute and childish characters on screen and get away with it. Kang Ji Hwan also is more appealing here than his role in Coffee House. Watching Coffee House was pure torture for me. There were viewers who loved it but it took me weeks just to finish watching the series. So I'm really glad he was chosen to play the lead actor in Lie To Me.

The OST also has a cute melody to go with this cute series!

According to Manila Bulletin, the korean girl group, 2ne1, will be having a concert at the Araneta Coliseum on May 15. I'm so happy for Sandara Park. I remember her saying in one of her interviews that her dream is to one day perform at the Araneta Coliseum with her group.

Sandara Park started her showbiz career in the Philippines a few years back after she became a finalist of ABS-CBN's Star Circle Quest. Later on, she decided to move back to Korea when she didn't get any good TV or movie offers anymore. It was a wise decision for her because now, she's not only popular in Korea but the whole of Asia as well.

I tried looking for ticket prices at Ticketnet but 2ne1's concert is still not included in the list. I wonder if the concert will really push through....

I don't watch Glee except when I'm bored at home and I have nothing to watch or when Charice is in the episode. I actually already expected that the kiss was bound to happen because the two was supposed to have a romantic relationship but I still got excited when I read about the kiss and searched youtube.

I know that Kurt and Blaine make cute couple. And the kiss was great! (I wish I was Kurt!!!) But I don't get it why this guy had to jump in excitement! ha!ha!

It's nice to watch parodies of my favorite korean dramas. For instance, Big Bang's parody of Secret Garden. I'm amazed that they were really able to copy all the mannerisms, the clothes, hairstyles of each of the characters in the drama. They even shot the scenes in the exact location where the drama was filmed. But what I don't understand is why do the guys pretend that they're girls in the drama??? They even have kissing scenes! I don't find it funny! Yuck! They could have asked other female celebrities to portray the female lead.

I finished watching SECRET GARDEN today. I still had Binnie-hangover so I decided to search for more Hyun Bin projects. I came across his two movies in youtube, Late Autumn and Come Rain, Come Shine. Apparently, these are his last two movies prior to entering military service this March.

Late Autumn: This one looks interesting. Is this really an all-English film? Binnie has been having a hard time speaking in English in his previous dramas so I'm surprised that he took this role.

Come Rain, Come Shine: The trailer looks boring to me but I'll watch this one anyway just to see Binnie.

Secret Garden: Hyun Bin and Ha Ji won

I love Hyun Bin. I fell for him midway of the series, My Name is Kim Sam Soon. But I really fell head-over-heels in love with him in Snow Queen. He has always been on my top 5 list of hottest Korea oppas ever since I've been addicted to Korean series. So I'm ashamed to admit that I really thought that his latest series, Secret Garden, was boring when I first found out about it. First, Hyun Bin was made too thin for the series. (I'm still hooked on his Snow Queen look!) Second, his leading lady was Ha Ji Won which didn't add to my excitement. But then my fellow PEx ullzangs kept on raving about this series that I found myself watching it while waiting for english-subbed episodes of Song Seung Hun's My Princess. Now, after just watching nine episodes of Secret Garden, I can say that this series is a sure winner. I never thought that Oppa Binnie will have a great chemistry with Ha Ji Won. And there's something about the way Oppa Binnie stares at his leading ladies which makes me all giddy like a high schooler. ( No wonder he captured Song Hye Kyo's heart!)

My favorite scene so far, after watching the first half of the series, is the "sit-up" scene!!!!! OMG! I really don't know how Ha Ji Won was able to do the scene without blushing or bursting into giggles when Oppa Binnie stared at her!!!!!!!!!

This is Oppa Binnie's last series before his military enlistment. I'm surely going to miss him.

Here's a youtube compilation of the sweetest moments in Secret Garden. The OST, That Man, was sang by Oppa Binnie! I never thought that he has a great voice too! How can you not fall in love with his guy??? If only he can speak fluent English, he'd be perfect! :)

I actually found out about the 2011 SuJu concert when I saw a poster of Siwon and 2 other SuJu guys at Gateway Mall. The concert will be held at the Araneta Coliseum on February 26 (Saturday) at 6pm. It's nice to know that Manila is now one of those Asian countries being visited by Korean artists for concerts. I visited ticketnet and saw the concert prices...OMG! I love Siwon but I don't think I'm that crazy over him to buy a ticket worth P7,920!!! The lowest price is at general admission for P1,600. I think I'll just watch the highlights of the concert at youtube. :)

My Princess: Kim Tae Hee and Song Seung Hun

My Princess, is a new MBC romantic-comedy series starring Kim Tae Hee and Song Seung Hun. It is about the love story of Lee Seol (Tae Hee) who finds out that she's a real princess and Hae Young (Seung Hun) who is the sole successor of the largest conglomerate in Korea, the Daehan Jonghap Group.

When I first read about this series, I wasn't exactly too thrilled about it. I just thought that the series would definitely be a hit because MBC was able to get two popular korean stars to play the lead role, Tae Hee and Seung Hun. I first saw Tae Hee in Love Story in Harvard and although she's really beautiful, I'm not exactly an avid fan. And as for Seung Hun, I first saw him in Autumn in My Heart and of course (like all the other girls), I fell in love with him! But after the Lee Da Hae incident in East of Eden, I started disliking him.

Anyway, when I watched the first episode today, I got hooked.( I actually finished watching the first four episodes in one sitting!) Aside from the fact that the series has two good-looking lead actors, the story is pretty interesting too. Tae Hee's character is so endearing. I love her innocent look and cute winter outfits. She's not trying hard unlike other korean actresses. ( I guess it's because she's really pretty from the very start!). I also love Seung Hun in this series. His acting is natural and he looks good with his new hairstyle and white shirt. He can wear his white shirt all through out the series and I won't even complain about it!

MBC Drama Awards 2010 was held last December 30. Netizens say that compared to the other drama awards, this one was the most boring. ( I think I have to agree because netizens only uploaded a few clips at youtube! ha!ha!) Some stars also failed to show up for the awards night like Son Ye Jin of Personal Taste. I love December! Not only because it's Christmas season but also because it's the time of the year when Korean TV Stations hold their annual drama awards. The KBS Drama Awards Night is telecast live via KBS World every December 31 so for three years now, I've been watching the show and joining Korea in their new year countdown (And since Korea is one hour ahead of the Philippines, I still have time to celebrate New Year's Eve with my family after the show.) I used to endure watching the show without english subtitles but this time, I was able to watch the show online with English hosts/commentators translating the speeches and showing celebrity backstage interviews.

Unlike other blogs, I will not make a rundown of all the winners. I will just mention those winners who have made an impact and captured my heart! :)

Talk about creativity!!!! I just read at POPSEOUL (source: Baidu) that a fan tricked DBSK's Xiah Junsu into signing a no-marriage contract! You go girl! ha!ha! Apparently, the fan made a contract banning the singer from getting married for a certain period of time.She brought it in a fansigning event and Junsu without reading the note, signed it! He should learn from Angelina Jolie. I remember watching the actress in one of those youtube clips refusing to sign a blank paper handed to her by a fan. I think that's a smart move because the fan might actually write something on the blank paper and make it appear that she signed a contract.

I'll give this Junsu fan "the most creative" award for the year 2010! But I think she should have made a marriage contract between her and Junsu instead!!!!! I wonder why other fans haven't thought of this before......ha!ha!

Last week, SS501 Leader Kim Hyun Joong went to Singapore for The Face Shop tour. As expected, fans gathered at the Changi airport to catch a glimpse of him. His latest series, Mischievous Kiss, was a big hit overseas so I wasn't surprised when I saw the number of fans who were at the airport. I bet the airport security had a hard time with crowd control.

Judging from the youtube uploads I saw, the fans were pretty tamed for me despite the loud screams from them! ha!ha! If I were there, I would have removed any barricade , stanchions or velvet rope so that I can hug him!!!!!

But what made Oppa Joongie's arrival so special (especially to the JOONGBOers out there!) was that he took a JOONGBO placard from one of his fans who was lined up behind the stanchions . Of all the placards/posters that he saw, why take that specific placard with a big yellow SEGYERO in hangeul written over a collage of JOONGBO PICS?????(note: SEGYERO (To The World) is the famous JoongBo chant -- this is what HwangBo (Buin) & Oppa Joongie (Shillang) shouted on top of Mt Halla!!!) Why? Why? Why oppa???? Is it because Noona HwangBo really has a special place in your heart???? ha!ha! :)

I've always been a fan of Lee Da Hae ever since she played the role of Joo Yoo Rin of the 2006 korean series, My Girl. I've watched all her series and TV guestings. And when it comes to ranking korean actresses based on looks and talent, she has always been on top of my list. So I was shocked when I read about how she insulted the English accent of Filipinos. I tried not to judge her until I saw the video clip but when I saw it, I was really disappointed. I think it's so sad that koreans can make fun of English accents of other races when in fact, most of them barely speak English and if ever they can speak English, you can't hardly understand them at all.

Da Hae tried to explain her side via her twitter account, cherry4eva84, but still I'm hurt. I've admired her for so long and it pains me to realize that she's not sensitive to the feelings of others.

Lee Seung Gi's HOI Song

My Girlfriend is a Gumiho is the reason why Mischievous Kiss has poor ratings in Korea. I wondered why at first since Mischievous Kiss is an adaptation of a popular manga. But after I started watching the series, I discovered the unique storyline the Hong Sisters have created. I'm actually not much of a fan of Lee Seung Gi (Ki). He caught my attention in Shining Inheritance but I would always prefer my "other oppas" over him. ha!ha! But I must say that after Gumiho, I've realized what a great actor he really is. There were several scenes that I would feel his sadness and pain. I love his kissing scene with Min Ho (Shin Min Ah) during the last few minutes of episode 13. His tears dropped as if on cue. He's really good! ha!ha!

And speaking of Shin Min Ah...I must admit I didn't like her at first.I wondered before why koreans love her and she gets a lot of TV/movie projects. In Gumiho, like Seung Gi, I also realized that she's a great actress. She can transform from a scary/creepy character to a naive/innocent one. I can't think of anyone more suited to play Min Ho.

Anyway, I came across this HOI Song by Lee Seung Gi! So cute! I swear, if all korean celebrites can speak English fluently, they'll all be PERFECT! :)

Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) and Daniel Henney visited the Philippines recently together with other korean celebrities Lee Jung Jin,Lee Na Young and Yoon Jin Soo to film their upcoming korean drama, The FUGITIVE. Click here for more press conference pictures.

Aside from the shooting, RAIN, also had his first concert at the Mall of Asia last September 11.

TV5 got the chance to interview Rain and Daniel for the promotion of The FUGITIVE. Rain was interviewed by Mo Twister (Yuck! Why him??????) and Daniel was interviewed by Ruffa Gutierrez.

Rain's Manila Arrival

Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) arrived in Manila last weekend. Thanks to his loyal fans from Cloud Philippines, I was able to watch his arrival via youtube. I was actually disappointed when I saw the clip. To me, he seemed like a snob. He didn't even smile while he was walking to his car. There were only a few people who gathered to see him but I think that since he's a celebrity, he should have made an effort to smile. It's his responsibility....his job! Who knows what the fans went through just to catch a glimpse of me. No matter how tired he was, he should have at least acknowledged the reporters or fans who were there. It really made me think how he values his Filipino fans. Will I buy the expensive ticket just to watch him? I guess not!

OMG! So the concert will really push through! Oppa Jung Ji Hoon is coming!!!!!!!!!!I can't believe that finally RAIN will have a concert in Manila!!!!!!!! I don't care much about UKISS and I also don't like Christian Bautista! If ever I'm going to attend the concert, it will be because of RAIN only! :)
It's too bad that TV5 is the main TV network for Rain's Manila Concert. I was looking forward to seeing Rain in ABS-CBN's ASAP!
BTW, my fellow PEXER posted that Rain will be coming this September 2 already because he'll shoot some scenes for his korean drama, FUGITIVE.

There's a new korean girl group that I've recently discovered while browsing POPSEOUL. It's RAINBOW. I saw their music video of their recent single "A" and I got hooked. I love their outfits, make-up and hairstyles! Their song is pretty cool too!

Synopsis:

Things get complicated when both of them realize that they love each other.

My thoughts:

I only watched this series just because Lee Min Ho is in it. I first noticed him in Boys Over Flowers when he played the role of Goo Jun Pyo. When the news broke out that he was starring in another series, I thought that no matter how lousy the series was, I would still watch it because of him.

The plot is interesting actually. A handsome straight guy pretends to be gay. Then the guy falls in love with the weird, sloppy, nerdy girl. Of course, there's still the korean series trademark --- the typical "love-square"(Boy A falls in love with Girl A but Girl B also likes Boy A and Boy B likes Girl A) dilemma.

Lee Min Ho looks awkward in some scenes. ..Probably because he's too tall. He looks really lanky with his signature walk (because of his bad knee, I guess...).

I thought the series will tackle a cougar relationship because Son Ye Jin is much older than MinHo in real life. But age wasn't the issue in the series. It was as if both of them were of the same age in the series.

There were a lot of sweet moments in this series (which is not common in korean dramas). My mom even commented that there were a lot of kissing scenes in it! ha!ha!

And lastly, after watching all of the 16 episodes, I've come with up with the conclusion, that LEE MIN HO IS A GOOD KISSER! ha!ha! Watch the series and check out for yourself! You'll know what I mean! ha!ha!

My thoughts:

I love Prosecutor Princess! It is not the typical korean series where there's a love triangle or love square (?)! ha!ha! What got me into watching this one were the good reviews and recommendations of my fellow ulzzang PEXers. I wasn't familiar with the cast but I got hooked after I watched the first episode. Compared to the previous korean series that I've watched, this series made me watch the episodes one after the other because I was clueless on what would happen next. Since the lead character was a fashionista, I also found myself looking forward to what type of clothes, bag, shoes or jewelry she'll wear next.

I hated this OST at first but as the series went on, I started to appreciate it. :)

Kim Hyun Joong in Mischievous Kiss

One of the two Taiwanese series that I actually like and was able to watch from start to finish is IT STARTED WITH THE KISS (ISWAK) . ISWAK is based on a Japanese manga, "Itazura na Kiss" ( Mischievous Kiss) by Tada Kaoru. I fell in love with Joe Cheng's character, Jiang Zhi Shu. So I was totally thrilled when I found out that SS501's leader, Kim Hyun Joong , was chosen to play the lead role for the korean version. Oppa Joongie is really cute but I really don't have a crush on him. BUT....I'm expecting that I'll completely fall for him when this series starts to air on September. ha!ha! His leading lady is newcomer , Jung So Min. I don't know who she is but I bet with this series, just like Lee Min Ho in Boys Over Flowers, she'll become popular soon.

By the way, I'm lovin' Oppa Joongie's hair already! :)

I just remembered that it was exactly 4 years ago, July 22, 2006, when I first saw Wookie in flesh when he guested in the noontime show, Wowowee! And until now, I'm still head-over-heels in love with him. :)

World Date With Kim Beom IV

I finally was able to watch KBS World's World Date With Kim Beom ( with english subs). I bet those 5 girls were really super happy to be able to hang out with him for 4 days. If I were in their shoes and it was oppa Lee Dong Wook that I was dating.... waahhh!!!! .... I'd be grinning.....screaming....jumping....taking pictures all at the same time! :)

It was nice that they had a mini-tour of South Korea. The pajama party with all the balloons was sooo korean! ha!ha! I love the part when he bought them souvenirs from the street stalls. I was especially touched when he gave each of them necklaces as remembrance (it's reminiscent of korean dramas I've watched!) and then he sang the theme song of the korean movie, My Sassy Girl, "I believe". I would have cried if that happened to me!

I super love this series. I love Han Hyo Joo in Spring Waltz (with Suh Do Young) and I never thought that I would also appreciate her team-up with Lee Seung Ki.
I like Eun Sung's loose casual outfits!....and the bags....they looked like designers bags ( I thought she was poor already...how could she afford the bags???)
I like the heart necklace too!
There were a lot of moments that I wanted to slap her stepmom on the face and pull her hair....her character was so evil...manipulative....so convincing! ha!ha!
I noticed that she looked like Han Ji Hye in some scenes! :)
Although the story was nice, I found the series to be too long at 28 episodes!

I just read from charicemania.com that aside from Star King, Charice will also guest in Kim Jung-eun's CHOCOLATE. I've seen a couple of video clips from this show so I'm pretty excited to watch Charice's episode.

CHOCOLATE is a late night music program which began airing on March 10, 2008 on Tuesday nights at 12:35am on SBS replacing Lee Juk's Music Space. It was then moved to Wednesday nights at 12:30am, Saturday nights at 12:10am, and now Sunday nights at 12:10am. I guess for me, Korea's STAR KING really played a big role in making Charice a huge youtube sensation. Her Korean TV exposure which was uploaded in youtube was the reason why people behind the Ellen DeGeneres show noticed her.

She's back in Korea today as part of her 5-country Asian Tour to promote her debut album. Her STAR KING guesting will be taped on June 12 and it will be aired on June 24.

I wonder if she'll see Super Junior again...lucky girl! :)

Lee Dong Wook and Lee Junki As Tour Guides (Part1)

It's really sad when a favorite Korean celebrity enters military service. But what's nice about some of them is that they usually join the entertainment unit like Lee Dong Wook and Lee Junki. By joining this special unit, they become more accessible to fans despite their two-year mandatory military training.

Lee Dong Wook, for instance, is a part of a miltary radio program every 6-8pm every Mondays to Saturdays together with Kim Jae Won. Korean fans not only get to listen to his voice every day but also can communicate with him by sending him letters and he, in turn, reads them on air! :)

Recently, Lee Dong Wook and Lee Junki were chosen to be tour guides in a photo exhibit which commemorates the Korean War Anniversary. The exhibit started last June 25 and it will run until August 18. Both of them are assigned every Wednesdays and Sundays. Wookie at 10:30 am and Junki at 12 noon. Fans can actually just register to see both of them up close in person. How cool is that? :)

Korean Series in Animax!

I super love Animax these days! Three of my fave korean series are now being shown in this channel. If you want the Tagalog-dubbed version with english subtitles, you can tune in to Animax from Wednesday to Friday every 8pm. But if you want the original version with the Korean audio, the episodes have a replay at 12mn on the same day. For K-pop lovers, the channel also has Live Power Music every Mondays at 8pm. I was able to watch MBLAQ and T-MAX perform awhile ago! :)

Is this plain coincidence or what? According to baidu, Lee Min Ho and Goo Hye Sun have been caught wearing the same type of ring which looks like a promise ring or couple's ring!!! Most Korean celebrity couples don't publicize their relationship but there are rare occasions when fans are able to discover subtle hints or clues of a romantic relationship of their fave couple like the Minsun couple. :) What do you think?
